Blood Bowl – Averland Hawks Part 5

Gareth was tired of constantly running in a drive wheel on a Reik's passenger ship. It was a low-paying, monotonous job. Ironically, the constant running was the basis of his fitness for being a Blood Bowl player.

On a trip along the Averland, he met the rebuilding Hawks. Without further ado, Gareth “the Express” Bosch signed up with the Hawks and started a new life. “The rest is history”, as they say.

I have something in common with Marcus, also known as Tabletopwelt user Garbosch - a long time ago we used to play football. At a time when our involvement in this sport could justifiably be described as pioneering work while no-one is likely to remember our names, this naturally creates a certain amount of character. So it's probably no surprise to anyone when I say that many ex-footballers have a soft spot for Blood Bowl and get on well with each other. It's the same with Marcus, who used to play for Landsberg Express, and I realized from the get-go that he's just a great guy!

I'm all the more pleased that I can dedicate one of my best minis to him. I'm really happy with the paint job and will try to keep this classic GW style for the second half of the team. When the team is finished, I really need to play against Garbosch's Chaos Dwarves - you'll be lenient with your alternate self, won't you Marcus?
