Schicksalspfade, Alkemy and Lord of the Rings
A bit of show and tell, what i found again while reorganisating my hobby room. Beginning with a small Alkemy warband that i bought in between 3 and 5 years ago from heavily discounted stocks at shows. Ludik Bazar used to sell these for a real small price and as the miniatures themself are quite nice looking, i couldn't say no. The whole lot most likely cost me less than 30 euros and as a skirmish warband they don't eat up that much space. I am thinking about an orange color scheme and some aftermarket roundlip bases, perhaps by Tabletop Art or Micro Art Studio.
The Worlds Aftermath
Where do we beginn? Let's do a sum up.
The Worlds Weekend was great. Chapeau! to the traders that participated and offered their goods for nice prices. I took the chance got myself some treats. Ainsty Castings Resin parts, a few Lord of the Rings blisters (what for? you will see...), Saga Dice, the new Saga Crescent & Cross Rules and the nice ruler from the Worlds Saga Tournament. Bäm! Oh and i got the Leopard 2A6 from Empress Miniatures at the Worlds!
An Unexpected Journey – HdR 2013
This weekend was the 9th LotR Tabletop Community Con, but not as usual at the Kauzenburg, it was held at a new location, the Bonnheimer Hof in Hackenheim.
Otherwise than usual, without my Feldherr messenger bag and only with my dslr equiped, Andreas and i drove down the Rhein toward Bad Kreuznach to pay this event a visit.
In the rural area between Hunsrueck and Rheinhessen, it continues getting more rural until you arrive at a manor. A roll-up in the inner courtyard assures, this is the place! Interesting location, especially for a Lord of the Rings themed event.
