Stargrave – More Sci-Fi goodies
I got myself some individual blisters from Osprey / Northstars Stargrave sci-fi skirmish, to cover generic roles in sci-fi systems but to add some depth to my Necromunda Collection. In detail I got the following sets
- SGVX001 -The Old Rogues
- SGV203 - Specialists Guard Dogs
- SGV305 - Plague Zombies I
- SGV306 - Plague Zombies II
The first blister is a repurpose of various Mark Copplestone sculpts, which were done for an "older" (as in released prior to Stargrave) Osprey ruleset. If I am not mistaken, that was Rogue Stars back in 2016 - 5 years prior to Stargrave. The models are proper 28mm scale with heroic proportions and work well with middlehammer Games Workshop miniatures. These will fit in as Bountyhunters or various additions in the Underhive, from Mercenaries to local Arbites Auxiliary forces.
In Inquisitor (the 54mm game) Enforcer Barbaretta had a cyber mastiff with her, and I liked the idea, never got my hands on the Enforcer Mastiff that was released with the mid-2000s Specialist Games range / updated Arbites models, and this was a cheap alternative, that would get me three dogs for less than the other one would cost me on eBay.
And the two blisters of Sci-Fi Zombies really got me excited, as the Plague Zombies are difficult to come by and I like these sculpts, and they fit in very well, as you can see.
I bought these from Miniaturicum, who cover a lot of Northstar stock in Germany, and the four blisters above cost me around 45-ish Euros, for 15 miniatures, a fair price in my opinion.
