Adeptus Titanicus – House Moritain Ad Arma Pt. I
As each of my titan legios will cover an allied Knight Household, I want to start with those supporting Legio Astraman.
According to the Adeptus Titanicus supplement Loyalist Legios this would be the Knights of House Moritain, due to its ties to the Forge World Graia. And while the half-blueish-grey, half-black with yellow contrasts does appeal to me in general, it is not quite there yet, where I want it to be.
The blue-grey reminded me of the old Space Wolves and that got me the idea to shift them towards the Grey Manes and Wolf Guard of the older editions of Warhammer.
I played with the scheme a bit in Photoshop, and as I don't really feel the coat of arms of Hous Moritain, it is to much Baratheon, and I'd like it to be rather Stark, the shift would fit as well. Especially as I do have quite the amount of Space Wolves decals, that I can put to use.
I am sure, that there will be a nephew or second born son among the nobles, who didn't fall in line with the traditions of House Moritain and would try to make a name for himself. Along with interesting names for the various knights, and personal heraldy, for Griseo Manes / Griseo Venatores / Iuba Canum (Grey Mane), Longis Dentis (Long Fang) or Chele Cruentus (Blood Fang).
Regarding the stock of the models, I have multiple boxes of most of the plastic knights (so all the non Forge World stuff),
- 4x Acastus Knight Porphyrion
- 4+ Cerastus Knight Lancers
- 4+ Cerastus Knight Castigator
- 4+ Cerastus Knight Acheron
- 12+ Questoris Knight
That should be more than enough to be able to support a battle force either in Legions Imperialis or Titan Legion in Titanicus, or optional be played as an Household of it's own.

Great timing! I am currently prepping similar numbers of knights for my House Caesarean warhost!
