Adeptus Titanicus – Legio Astraman Ad Arma Pt. V

Legio Astraman got magnetized in my mustering post for this army project, and as Legio Astraman is heavy on the Gatlings, I had to get these for my Warlord Titan. So the Macro Gatling Blasters got magnetized to give me options towards the Belicosa Volcano Guns.

And so did I with the shoulder armament, the paired Gatling Blasters, magnetized as well. Games Workshop / Forge World did a proper job on these, as you don't need to drill and they take 5 by 1 mm round magnets.

A lot of Dakka-Dakka or Brrrrt on a Warlord Titan. But the second arm will probably move other to my Lucius-Alpha Pattern Warlord Titan, where I want to recreate the classic 90s models (up to a certain degree).

I was invited to a Adeptus Titanicus event in February, this means I really have to get painting, so I pick up where I left in the Part IV of the Ad Arma project, and went for the metal parts on these, using Army Painter Gun Metal. First step is to block in the base colours, add a wash in the recesses and move on from there.

I have a busy schedule, but I'm looking forward to provide some proper progress on these. I still have a bit of trouble to see which colours I should paint some of the areas, as I am not that familiar with the kits, much more used to 28mm infantry and tanks, so this is kind of a challenge. And as these were pretty fully build during their reviews, it is tricky to reach all the areas. For the second maniple I'll have a different approach.
