Back to the Underhive – Part 2
And again back to the Underhive. First, let me share the collection box of Necromunda, Gorka Morka and other Sidegames from the Warhammer 40.000 Universum. Muties, Diggers, Scavvies and other stuff.
I ordered a few boxes from the 40k range to build more stuff for Inq28. Beginning with the Bullgryns, i went with Nork Deddog. The other two bodies were used to build up an "underhived" Ogryn and the other one a more heavy Bullgryn. The Ogryn got some bitz from the ork nob sprue, like the cigar hand and a few decoration pieces. The Bullgryn got more armoured, additional shoulder pads and he will get the large shield.
And this Wolsung guy makes a great interstellar merchant of things...
Among the boxes were a few from the new Adeptus Mechanicus range, i got the new Kastelan Robot and modified them, into a more enslaved human / cyborg look. I cut open the helmet and got them gas masked bullgryn head in there. Just a mock up, not glued in place, just to see if it works ... and well, it does. The Skitarii box was splitted, 5 / 5 into Rangers and Vanguard, quite a few options and parts. But a big pain in the butt to get rid of the mold lines.
A few words about the Mechanicus Release. Those are some cool miniatures in that release. But what kind of a UBER-dick move is it, to release them that way? You get 2 month ago a 26 Euro book, then another one, so you have to pay 52 euros just for the f-ing rules? And then, Kastelan Robots for 52 Euro is hard on the edge, but somewhere okaish. The Skitarii are a good choice for 31 euro. But the rest of the range? 15,50 Euro for a decal sheet, 29 Euro (!) for the characters / Dominus Priest ... that's 2 euro less than the whole box of 10 Skitarii. And the electro priests, which i'd really like to buy, are 33 Euros for a set of 5. That makes many of those choices, more expensive than their Forge World counterparts / alternatives. Enough of my rant, the weekend is right around the corner, really looking forward to it 🙂
