Wehrtechnische Studiensammlung Koblenz Pt II
And more impressions from the WTS Koblenz.
Such an event attracts a certain crowd, with interest in heavy gear, even in smale scale. So no wonder the local scale modellers were there as well, with their kits and dioramas.
The first picture doesn't answer the question how 10 Marine fit inside a rhino, but that is one tight space even without servo armour. Beside tanks, they even had motorcycles.
A special sideshow for this evening was about battleships.
There were some light armoured cars, like these half-tracks and some really heavy guns / howitzers.
And if you think, are they building pod racers in Koblenz? Unfortunately not, those are "just" aircraft engines.
Interesting were all the uniforms and camo suits. But this magnum worthy mustache was so impressive, you couldn't skip him.
And they seem to have some humour on the Rhine, otherwise you couldn't explain the soldiers face in the 3rd picture.
And there were some heavy helicopters and prototypes, as well as soldiers helmets and hats.
And as you would expect it from such an exhibition, not only modern weapons, but a lot of historical wargear, like these guns and cannons.
And beside the replicas and remnants, there were further models and drawings shown. The third and last part covers hand guns, rifles and other finds.
