Crisis 2012 – Part IV
After a successful show at Spiel, the next harbour for Freebooter was Antwerp.
And this away mission was succesful as well. The booth was heavily crowded from the first 15 minutes until the very last hours of the show. I was lucky enough to even get a line of sight for a picture of Werner.
The remaining crew had their hands full as well, selling those sought-after miniatures and hosting the demo tables.
The well build tables were already shown in Essen, but I took a few more pictures to add to the already positive impression.
They managed to get an update to the new miniatures, as they were painted in the meantime.
And not to forget, the Indiegogo project Freebooters Legends clocks in near the 50.000 USD mark. Use the chance and get your hands on some of the perks.
Fireforge Games, who went to Crisis last year for the first time, returned in 2012 to Antwerp.
Fabio Spiezia's team presented new plastic kits, among them the foot sergeatns and the new Deus Vult ruleset.
Deus Vult wasn't written just by anyone, but by Alessio Cavatore. He used the chance at the show to present other games that he has written, for example Shuuro with supplement.
We took the chance to get to know the rules a bit better, and the man-himself took the time to give us the introduction. That didn't went unnoticed as you can see in the third picture.
And you could do so directly at the booth, with miniatures from Fireforge.
We even met John Cadice (Soda Pop Miniatures), who went after his stop at Essen to Crisis as well. After we've seen him Bolt Action shopping at Warlord Games, our paths crossed again at Fireforge, where he had a talk with Alessio about an upcoming cooperation. Will we see a new project? Who knows...
